How to play Word Spy
- 1Add everyone's name, pick a word pack, then pass the phone round.
- 2Each player taps to see their secret: the word, or “You're the spy”. Hide it before passing on.
- 3Take turns asking each other one question about the word, like “Would you take a pet there?”
- 4Answer vaguely enough to keep the word from the spy, but clearly enough to prove you know it.
- 5When the timer runs out, everyone points at their suspect and the most-voted player is accused.
- 6Catch the spy and the group wins, unless the spy can then guess the word. Accuse the wrong person and the spy wins.
Who's the spy?
Everyone gets the same secret word, except the spy. Ask questions, find the faker.

Variations
- Two spies: with 6 or more players, add a second spy. Spies don't know who the other is.
- Spy calls it: at any point, the spy can stop the game and guess the word to win instantly.
Tips
- As the spy, ask your question late in the round, once you've picked up a few hints.
