How to play War
- 1The deck is split evenly between you and the computer, face down.
- 2Both players flip their top card. The higher card wins both, aces high.
- 3If the cards tie, it's war! Each player puts three cards face down and one face up. The higher face-up card takes the whole pile.
- 4Whoever ends up with every card wins. Long game? Use Auto-play or Quick finish.
Flip, compare, win the whole deck
You and the computer each get half the deck. Flip your top cards: the higher card (aces high) takes both. Tie? That's war: three cards face down, one face up, winner takes everything.
Variations
- Two-player real cards: split one deck between two people and play exactly the same way.
Tips
- There's no strategy at all, which makes it perfect for younger kids learning card values.
