How to play Snakes and Ladders
- 1Everyone starts off the board. Take turns rolling the die and moving that many squares.
- 2Land at the bottom of a ladder and climb straight up it.
- 3Land on a snake's head and slide all the way down to its tail.
- 4Roll a 6 and you get another roll.
- 5You need the exact number to land on square 100. The first player there wins.
Climb the ladders, dodge the snakes
Take turns rolling the die and moving your token. Land at the foot of a ladder to climb it; land on a snake's head and slide down. First to square 100 wins.
House rules: you need the exact roll to land on 100 (roll too high and you stay put), and a 6 earns another roll.

Variations
- Bounce back: if your roll overshoots 100, count forward to 100 and then back the rest of the way.
