How to play Sea Battle
- 1Your fleet is placed on your grid at random. Tap Shuffle to try a different layout before you start.
- 2Tap a square on the enemy grid to fire. A hit is marked with a cross, a miss with a dot.
- 3The computer fires back after each of your shots.
- 4Hit every square of a ship to sink it. Sink the whole enemy fleet before they sink yours.
Sink the computer's fleet first
Two 8×8 seas, five ships each (sizes 4, 3, 3, 2, 2). Take turns firing one shot at a time. Sink every enemy ship before it sinks yours.
Variations
- Pen and paper: two players draw two 8×8 grids each, hide their ships, and call out squares like “C4”.
Tips
- After a hit, try the four squares around it. Once you have two hits in a line, follow it.
