How to play Hot and Cold
- 1One player leaves the room while another hides a small object.
- 2The seeker comes back and starts searching.
- 3Everyone else calls out “warmer” or “hotter” as they get closer, and “colder” or “freezing” as they move away.
- 4When they find it, swap roles.
Variations
- Musical version: hum louder as the seeker gets closer and quieter as they move away.
Tips
- For very young kids, hide the object partly in view.
