How to play Duck, Duck, Goose
- 1Everyone sits in a circle facing in. One player is “it”.
- 2“It” walks round the outside, tapping each head and saying “duck”.
- 3When they tap someone and say “goose”, that player jumps up and chases “it” round the circle.
- 4If “it” reaches the goose's empty spot and sits down without being tagged, the goose becomes “it”.
- 5If the goose tags “it”, the same player goes round again.
Variations
- Drip, drip, drop: played outside in summer with a cup of water instead of saying “goose”.
Tips
- Clear the space around the circle so nobody trips while running.
