How to play Botticelli
- 1One player thinks of a famous person and says the first letter of their surname.
- 2Other players ask indirect questions about people with that letter, like “Are you a famous painter?”
- 3The answerer must name someone who fits, like “No, I'm not Botticelli.”
- 4If they can't think of anyone, the questioner earns a direct yes-or-no question about the mystery person.
- 5Whoever guesses the person correctly picks the next one.
Variations
- Fictional only: the mystery person must be a character from books, films or TV.
Tips
- Ask about obscure people. Stumping the answerer is the only way to get direct questions.
